Technical description of De Beer 900 Series Paint 59-11:
DeBeer refinish 900 Series 59-11 Paint is a waterborne Matt basecoat designed for faithful reproduction, particularly on dark, deep and intense shades. This reference is part of a range of high-performance products designed to meet the requirements of the most modern body shops, whether for rapid repairs, complete Refinishing work or top-of-the-range customisation.
This base colour, available in 110ml packs, is reserved for use in bodyshops and is a mysterious rainforest colour.
The 900 series is a water-based basecoat for a "Clearcoat on base" system. Suitable for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, this comprehensive range of colourants gives you the option of mixing the most commonly used OEM colours on the market.
What are the technical characteristics of De Beer's 59-11 paint?
1- High colour accuracy:
Paint 59-11 plays an essential role in the formulation of intense blacks and complex dark shades, contributing to a high level of colorimetric accuracy, particularly on colours with special effects or depth. Thanks to its controlled pigment particle size and excellent stability, it achieves an even distribution of tint, even on large surfaces or delicate joints.
2- Excellent adaptability to body shop conditions:
Like all the bases in the 900 Series range, 59-11 Paint is designed to adapt easily to variable temperature and humidity conditions, thanks to an optimised formulation. Combined with appropriate additives (in particular De Beer Thinners and Hardeners), it ensures consistent application behaviour and reduces the risk of defects such as cloudiness, halos or variations in gloss.
3- Fast, fluid application:
Base tint 59-11 is extremely fluid when sprayed, making it easy to apply quickly, cleanly and without excess thickness, with excellent coverage on prepared bases. This performance helps speed up production cycles while maintaining a high level of finish quality, making it an ideal solution for high-productivity workshops.
4- Respect for the environment:
As part of the waterborne range, 59-11 fully complies with European environmental standards on VOC emissions. It enables bodybuilders to reduce their ecological footprint without compromising on the performance and quality of repairs.
Preparation and use of De Beer 59-11 Paint :
1° Surface Preparation :
Clean your bodywork surface with a De Beer brand Degreaser, then wipe off any residue. Sand your surface with P400 or finer abrasive paper.
2° Mixing ratio :
The Thinner is included in the tint formulation. For custom formulations, add 10-20% of De Beer 9-151 water-based Thinner. Once mixed, shake lightly to ensure that the product is homogenous and that the application results meet your expectations.
3° Adjusting the Spray gun :
Use an HVLP or high-efficiency paint spray gun and adjust the diameter of your nozzle to 1.3 mm.
4° Application surfaces :
Paint can be applied to a wide range of substrates including bare steel, aluminium, primed plastic, well sanded/OEM primers and old paint systems in good condition.
5° Application and number of coats :
We recommend the application of two single, wet coats with a spray pressure of 2 bar/ 29 psi.
6° Finishing :
You can cover your surface with all De Beer Clearcoats.
