Description of De Beer MM 997
The MM900 series is a water-based basecoat for a "Clearcoat on base" system. Suitable for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Complete range of colourants offering you the possibility of mixing the OEM colours most commonly used on the market. It's easy to apply and gives you vivid colours. This saves you a considerable amount of time.
This base tint for bodywork complies with current VOC standards.

Preparing MM 997 Waterborne Paint
For easy application of De Beer® WaterBase MM997, combine the base colour with 10% Thinner: Standard Thinner 9-151
Preparing your surface
Before applying the Paint to your car or motorbike, it is essential to clean the area to be treated. To do this, it's important to use a microfibre cloth and a Degreaser. Once the surface is clean, come the Sanding stage. You can sand your surface with a P400 or finer. Once your vehicle has been sanded, remember to clean the area thoroughly to remove all sanding residues.
Applying MM 997 body paint
900 Series basecoats are applied using a professional spray gun fitted with a 1.3 mm Nozzle. They are suitable as a base coat for a two-coat system for light and heavy vehicles.

To achieve a high quality finish, it is essential to apply a two-component Clearcoat with a high solid content.

The MM900 series should only be applied to bare steel, aluminium or plastic. Be sure to read the instructions carefully before using the product.
