Characteristics of MM 976 body paint
De Beer® brand WaterBase MM976 900 Series offers vivid colours and is easy to apply. Its universality also means you can mix OEM colours as required.
This base tint for bodywork complies with current VOC standards.
This ready-to-use product complies with VOC code 2004/42/IIB(d)420)(418).
Preparing MM 976 Paint
For easy application of De Beer® WaterBase MM976, add 10% Thinner to the base colour: Standard Thinner 9-151
Surface preparation :
Before applying the Paint, the surface must be well prepared to ensure perfect adhesion and resistance. To do this, use a microfibre cloth and Degreaser. Once the surface is clean, come the Sanding stage: sand your surface with P400 or finer paper. Once your vehicle has been sanded, clean the area to remove all sanding residue.
Applying MM 976 body paint
900 Series basecoats are applied using a paint spray gun fitted with a 1.3 mm Nozzle. They are suitable as a base coat for a two-coat system for light and heavy vehicles.
Application media for MM 976
MM900 series products should only be applied to bare steel, aluminium or plastic. Read the safety data sheet carefully before using the product!
Finishing De Beer 900 Series paints
For best results, we recommend covering the colour with a two-component, high-dry-extract clearcoat.
