Properties of Diamont BC832 base paint
Diamont BC832 Paint is a discount bodywork base tint for perfect repairs. The Diamont range of bases is designed for the repair of two-coat finishes. It can be used to obtain a special-effect metallic, pearlescent or opaque finish.
Preparing the surface for application of BC832 Paint
Clean the surface with RM PK2000 , then sand with 400-grit paper.
Application of RM base BC832 Diamont
This RM body paint can be applied over RM primer but also over original paint. It can be applied wet-on-wet over an RM primer or sealer. Thinner the base with 6% Thinner BC 020 R-M. Using a 1.3 - 1.5 mm diameter Nozzle, apply 2 coats for an opaque tint, and an additional coat for a metallic or pearlescent tint, leaving to set between coats until a matt surface is achieved. The surface dries in 5 minutes in the open air.
