Properties of Diamont BC120 RM base paint
Diamont BC120 is a base colour for the repair of two-coat metallic, pearlescent and opaque finishes. It has a shelf life of 60 months.
Preparation and application of RM Diamont base paint
First clean the surface with RM's PK2000 , then sand with 400 grit sandpaper. This RM body paint can be applied over RM primer but also over original paint. It can be applied wet-on-wet over RM primer or sealer. To apply, start by diluting the base with 6% Thinner BC 020 R-M. Using a 1.3 - 1.5 mm diameter Nozzle, apply 2 coats for an opaque tint, and three coats for a metallic or pearlescent tint, leaving to set between each coat until a matt surface is achieved. The surface dries in 5 minutes in the open air.
Finishing for RM base BC120
After evaporation, apply an R-M Clearcoat wet-on-wet.
