Properties of Diamont BC105 RM base paint
Diamont BC105 Paint is a discount bodywork base tint for perfect repairs. The Diamont range of basecoats is designed for the repair of two-coat finishes. It can be used to obtain a special-effect metallic, pearlescent or opaque finish.
Preparing the surface
Clean the surface with RM PK2000, then sand with 400-grit paper. RM Body Paint can be applied over RM primer or original paint. It can be applied wet-on-wet over RM primer or sealer. Then thin the base with 6% Thinner BC 020 R-M.
Application of RM Diamont base
Apply using a 1.3 - 1.5 mm diameter Nozzle; 2 coats are required for an opaque tint, and an additional coat for a metallic or pearlescent tint. Leave to set between coats until you obtain a matt surface. The surface dries in 5 minutes in the open air.
Finishing for BC105 base
After evaporation, apply an R-M Clearcoat wet-on-wet.
