Properties of Cromax 1427W waterborne basecoat
Cromax paints comply with Directive 2004/42/EC on VOC emissions. They have an excellent coverage/garnish balance and are ready to use after the tint has been weighed. This saves you a considerable amount of time and product. They can be used for all types of repairs: joints, panels and complete paints.
Preparation for Cromax 1427W Paint
Cromax basecoats are ready to use and require no thinning.

Applying Cromax body paints
Cromax finishes are applied in 2 operations. Except for metallic and pearlescent colours, which require 2 coats followed by a light 3rd coat.
Substrate for base colour 1427W
Cromax hydro Matt basecoats can be applied to :
- All original and repaired finishes.
- Primers and 2K Refinish surfacers.
Notes
- The use of Cromax depends on the application and drying conditions (relative humidity, air circulation, temperature, etc.).
- The Cromax Mixing Color base colours must be thoroughly mixed before weighing and the Cromax colour must be mixed immediately after weighing and before use.
