Properties of Cromax 1431W waterborne basecoat

Cromax paints comply with Directive 2004/42/EC on VOC emissions. They are made from polyurethane copolymers. These Matt basecoats are easy to apply and offer excellent colour matching. Their perfectly balanced covering and filling properties increase productivity.

Preparation for Cromax 1431W Paint

Cromax basecoats are ready to use and do not need to be thinned. Depending on the application conditions in terms of temperature and humidity, the bases must be mixed with binders:

LV 1640WB binder (low viscosity), HV 1650WB binder (high viscosity), HT/FH WB400 Thinner.

Applying Cromax body paints

Cromax finishes are applied in 2 operations. Except for metallic and pearlescent colours, which require 2 coats followed by a light 3rd coat.
