Properties of Cromax® 1535W waterborne basecoat
Matt basecoat 1535W is made from a polyurethane copolymer. It is easy to apply to all light vehicles, trucks and coaches, and for all types of repairs: splices, panels or full paintwork.
Preparing Cromax 1535W Paint
Cromax basecoats are ready to use and require no thinning. Depending on the application conditions in terms of temperature and humidity, the bases must be mixed with binders:

Applying Cromax body paints
Cromax finishes are applied in 2 operations. Except for metallic and pearlescent colours, which require 2 coats followed by a light 3rd coat.
Base for 1535W base colour
Cromax® hydro Matt basecoats can be applied to :
- All original and repaired finishes.
- Primers and 2K Refinish surfacers.
Clearcoat application
Use only Refinish Clearcoats 679S, 3050S, 3200S, 3550S, 3750S, 3760S, 3800S, CC6400 and CC6600.
Application must be made when the Matt basecoat is completely matt.
