Product description for Cromax 1454W
It is very easy to apply and provides excellent colour matching. The excellent coverage/gloss balance saves a considerable amount of time and product. This base can be used for fittings, panels and complete paints. The Cromax base is ready to use once the colour has been weighed. VOC compliant, in accordance with Directive 2004/42/EC.
Preparation for Cromax 1454W Paint
Cromax basecoats are ready to use and do not need to be thinned. Depending on the application conditions in terms of temperature and humidity, the basecoats must be mixed with binders:

Applying Cromax body paints
Cromax finishes are applied in 2 operations. There is no Flash-off between layers.
For full coverage colours : Apply 2 coats of Matt basecoat, followed by 1 light coat for metallic and pearlescent colours. Apply wet-on-wet, increasing the spray distance with the number of coats.
For non-covering shades : Apply 1 coat, wait until matt and then follow the application method for full coverage shades.
Substrate for base colour 1454W
Cromax hydro Matt basecoats can be applied to :
- All original and repaired finishes.
- Cromax Refinish primers and 2K surfacers.
