Properties of Cromax® 1525W waterborne basecoat
Cromax® waterborne Matt basecoats comply with Directive 2004/42/EC on VOCs. Based on polyurethane copolymers, they are easy to apply and provide excellent colour matching. Their perfectly balanced covering and filling properties provide considerable productivity gains.
Preparing Cromax 1525W Paint
Cromax basecoats are ready to use and require no thinning. Depending on the application conditions in terms of temperature and humidity, the bases must be mixed with binders:

Applying Cromax body paints
Cromax finishes are applied in 2 operations. Except for metallic and pearlescent colours, which require 2 coats followed by a light 3rd coat.
Base for 1525W base colour
Cromax® hydro Matt basecoats can be applied to :
- All original and repaired finishes.
- 2K Refinish primers and surfacers.
Clearcoat application
Use only Refinish Clearcoats 679S, 3050S, 3200S, 3550S, 3750S, 3760S, 3800S, CC6400 and CC6600. Apply Clearcoat when the base is completely matt.
