Properties of 1429W Cromax waterborne basecoat
Cromax paints comply with Directive 2004/42/EC on VOC emissions. They are made from polyurethane copolymers. These Matt basecoats are easy to apply and offer excellent colour matching. Their perfectly balanced covering and filling properties increase productivity.
Preparation for Cromax 1429W Paint
Cromax basecoats are ready to use and do not need to be thinned.

Applying Cromax body paints
Cromax finishes are applied in 2 operations. Except for metallic and pearlescent colours which require 2 coats followed by a 3ᵉ light pass. No Flash-off between layers is necessary.
Substrate for base colour 1429W
Cromax hydro Matt basecoats can be applied to:
- All original and repaired finishes.
- Primers and 2K Refinish surfacers.
