Properties of Cromax 1450W waterborne basecoat
Cromax paints comply with Directive 2004/42/EC on VOC emissions. They have an excellent coverage/garnish balance and are ready to use after the tint has been weighed. This saves you a considerable amount of time and product. They can be used for all types of repairs: joints, panels and complete paints.
Preparation for Cromax 1450W Paint
Cromax basecoats are ready to use and require no thinning. Depending on the application conditions in terms of temperature and humidity, the bases must be mixed with binders:

Applying Cromax body paints
Cromax finishes are applied in 2 operations.
For full coverage colours : Apply 2 coats of Matt basecoat, followed by 1 light coat for metallic and pearlescent colours. Apply wet-on-wet, increasing the spray distance with the number of coats.
For non-covering shades : Apply 1 coat, wait until matt and then follow the application method for full coverage shades.

Cromax hydro Matt basecoats can be applied to :
- All original and repaired finishes.
- 2K Refinish primers and surfacers.
