Properties of WB1041 Cromax® Pro waterborne base coat
The WB1035 base from the Cromax Pro range, made from a polyurethane and acrylic latex copolymer, is a one-component, waterborne matt basecoat for opaque, metallic and pearlescent colours. It's extremely easy to apply and allows quality colour matching, with an excellent coverage/gloss balance that saves you a considerable amount of product time.
Preparing Cromax Pro WB1041 Paint
Cromax Pro basecoats need to be mixed with controllers and other ancillary products, depending on the humidity level and ambient temperature:
For the exact proportions to be used, please consult the technical data sheet available to download in PDF format.
Preparing surfaces before application
First, clean the surface with a good preparation cleaner and make any necessary repairs. Next, sand the surface mechanically (P400 - P500) or with water (P1000-P1200) and remove all traces of sanding dust by blowing with oil-free compressed air. Finish by degreasing with a good final cleaner/degreaser.
Applying Cromax Pro bodywork paints
Cromax Pro finishes are suitable for fittings, panels and complete paints. They are applied in 2 coats for opaque colours and 1.5 coats for effect colours.
