Properties of Cromax® Pro WB32 waterborne basecoat
Cromax® Pro paints comply with Directive 2004/42/EC on VOC emissions. They are composed of polyurethane and acrylic latex copolymers. These Matt basecoats are easy to apply and offer excellent colour matching. Their perfectly balanced covering and filling properties increase productivity.
Preparing Cromax Pro WB32 Paint
Cromax Pro bases need to be mixed with controllers and other ancillary products, depending on the humidity level and ambient temperature:
For the exact proportions to be used, please consult the technical data sheet available to download in PDF format.
Preparing surfaces
Start by cleaning the surface with soap and water before degreasing with a good preparation cleaner. Carry out your repairs and sand to remove all irregularities mechanically (P400-P500) or with water (P1000-P1200). Finish by removing all traces of sanding dust by blowing oil-free compressed air, and reapply the final degreaser.
Applying Cromax Pro body paints
Cromax Pro finishes are suitable for fittings, panels and complete paints. They are applied in 2 coats for opaque colours and 1.5 coats for effect colours.
