Properties of Cromax® Pro WB02 waterborne base coat
The WB02 base in the Cromax Pro range is a one-component waterborne Matt basecoat for opaque, metallic and pearlescent colours. It is suitable for light vehicles, trucks and coaches. What's more, it's easy to apply and allows excellent colour matching.
Preparing Cromax Pro WB02 Paint
Cromax Pro basecoats need to be mixed with controllers and other auxiliary products, depending on the humidity level and ambient temperature:

Applying Cromax Pro body paints
Cromax Pro finishes are suitable for fittings, panels and complete paints.
For standard colours, apply a full coat of Cromax Pro Matt basecoat close up with 70% coverage, followed by a placement coat increasing the spray distance.
For low-coverage colours, apply two close coats of Matt basecoat Cromax Pro with 70% coverage, followed by a placement coat with increased spray distance.
Support for base colour WB02
Cromax® Pro hydro Matt basecoats can be applied over :
- All original and repaired finishes.
- Cromax Refinish primers and 2K surfacers.
They can be overcoated with CromaxRefinish 3550S, 3750S, 3760S, 3800S, CC6400 and CC6600 Clearcoats.
