Properties of Cromax 1443W waterborne basecoat

Cromax 1420W is a One-component waterborne basecoat for opaque, metallic and pearlescent colours. It is suitable for light vehicles, trucks and polyurethane. Ready to use after tinting.

Complies with current VOC standards and Directive 2004/42/EC.

Preparation for Cromax 1443W Paint

Cromax basecoats are ready to use and do not need to be thinned. Depending on the application conditions in terms of temperature and humidity, the basecoats must be mixed with binders:

• LV 1640WB binder (low viscosity)
• HV 1650WB binder (high viscosity)
• HT/FH WB400 Thinner

Applying Cromax body paints

Cromax finishes are applied in 2 operations. Except for metallic and pearlescent colours, which require 2 coats followed by a light 3rd coat.

Substrate for base colour 1443W

Cromax hydro Matt basecoats can be applied to :

• All original and repaired finishes.
• Primers and 2K Refinish surfacers.

Notes

• The use of Cromax depends on the application and drying conditions (relative humidity, air circulation, temperature, etc.).
• The Cromax Mixing Color base colours must be thoroughly mixed before weighing and the Cromax® colour must be mixed immediately after weighing and before use.
• The spray gun must be made of stainless steel
