Waterborne paint base T4004 Stellar green - PPG Envirobase High Performance :
Technical description of PPG T4004 Paint Base:
The PPG Envirobase base tint is available in 0.5L cans for your professional bodywork repairs. This waterborne base is part of the Envirobase High Performance system, which is a waterborne Matt basecoat system used to repaint vehicles using the two-coat process. It accurately reproduces the original colours of the vehicles to be repaired (opaque, metallic, micas, special-effect tints), offering excellent recast and coverage properties.
This range is easy and flexible to apply and is characterised by the very high quality of the finish obtained, in terms of gloss and durability. Envirobase High Performance offers other colours to suit your work: permanent yellow, transparent red, blue black, phthalo green, graphite black, radiant red, crystal silver, micro white, warm yellow, lenticular metallic, shade blue, shade oxide, sunbeam gold, fine pearl, bright blue, etc.

Easy application for bodywork Touch up:
1- Degrease your surface:
Wash to remove residues and dry thoroughly before cleaning again Wipe the treated surface immediately with the Degreaser using a clean dry cloth.
2. Sanding:
We recommend sanding the original finishes with a P500 abrasive disc.
3. Mixing preparation :
Shake the base colours so that the solution is homogeneous for better application. If the product is not to be used directly, please mix again.
4. Applying coats and adjusting the spray gun :
Choose an HVLP gravity gun with a Plastic paint tank designed for water-based products. Set the Nozzle diameter to 1.2-1.4 mm then apply 1 first coat. The dry film thickness should be 10-20 µm and it is important to allow a minimum of 15 minutes for evaporation before applying the Clearcoat.
Once completely dry, apply 1 second coat and, if you wish, a dry placement veil at an input pressure of 1.2-1.5 bar (except for opaque colours).
Tech'team tip: A placement veil that is too dry causes powdering, which encourages the Clearcoat to come off.
