Properties of Uno HD RM SC62 base paint
Uno HD SC62 Paint is a low-cost bodywork basecoat for perfect repairs to industrial vehicles. The Uno HD range of basecoats includes basecoats with a high solids content. They are used for bodywork repairs to single-coat finishes. They offer high Theoretical coverage and are environmentally friendly, with low solvent emissions (in line with current European legislation on VOCs).
Preparing and applying RM SC62 Uno HD base coat
Clean the surface with RM PK2000 , then sand with 400 grit paper. Add H9000 Hardener to the Uno HD base. Then thin the base with 1:4 by volume of Thinner SC850. Using a 1.3 - 1.5 mm diameter Nozzle, apply a coat and a half, a Thin layer and then a Topcoat to obtain a dry surface with a thickness of 50 - 60µm, leaving to dry between each coat until you obtain a matt surface. The surface dries in 24 hours in the open air.
