Description of Cromax Chromaclear 3800S clear coat
Cromax ChromaClear® 3800S clear coat is an acrylic clear coat for bodywork. It offers a beautiful finish and has fast drying properties. It has high resistance to chemical and weathering effects. This clearcoat, available in 5-litre cans, has a low risk of sagging and excellent surface tension.
This topcoat can be used for touch-ups, panels and full paints. It is compatible with surfaces coated with solvent basecoats or water-based matt basecoats (Cromax®, Cromax® Pro, Centari®) as well as with all original finishes that have been cleaned and sanded.
Please note that this product is not recommended for use on thermoplastic acrylic finishes.
Application advice for Cromax Chromaclear 3800S clear coat:
VOC compliant with Directive 2004/42/EC, this car clearcoat is used once mixed in a 3:1 ratio by volume with one of the following XK hardeners:
- Standard application: XK205 hardener ( 1L / 5L )
- Touch-ups and panels: fast-curing XK203 hardener ( 1L / 5L )
- High temperature: slow-curing XK206 hardener ( 1L / 5L )
Mixing: 3:1 (XK hardener)
