Characteristics of XB387 Cromax high-temperature Thinner
XB387 Cromax Thinner is available in 5-litre cans. This XB 387 high-temperature Thinner is commonly used in the Preparation of various primers and Clearcoats. XB387 Cromax Thinner has a shelf life of 4 years at +20°C. This Thinner is also available in the standard version: XB383.
Combination of XB387 Cromax Thinner
High-temperature Thinner XB 387 is used in the following primers and Clearcoats:
- Primer 840R is a Chromate free epoxy surfacer primer with good corrosion resistance. It is particularly recommended as a first coat on bare metals. Primer 840R Cromax complies with VOC standards and is used wet-on-wet in a 4:1.5 volume with dupont XB387 Thinner. Pot life: 8h.
- Please refer to activators XK203, XK205, to complete the Preparation. These primers comply with VOC legislation.
- Cromax high-temperature Thinner XB 387 is also used in LE 2001, LE 2004 and LE 2007 primers. These 2K surfacer primers can be applied wet-on-wet or sanded. For mixing ratios, please refer to the Primer technical data sheet.
