Properties of MM332 XS silver pearlescent paint:
The silver pearlescent base paint MM332 XS, available in 0.5 l cans, is part of the Autowave MM2.0 finishing system, which guarantees excellent Theoretical coverage, good distribution of metallic and pearlescent colours and excellent ease of application, making it suitable for painting new elements or repairing two-coat opaque, pearlescent or metallic systems. This waterborne lacquer must be combined with a specific Sikkens Clearcoat to provide excellent environmental protection. This range is the best choice for optimum quality bodywork finishes.

Application of MM332 XS - Sikkens :
All Sikkens brand base colours must be mixed directly after creating the formula to ensure that it is homogenous.
1. Gun setting / application pressure :
- Nozzle diameter: 1.3 mm (1.4 mm for HT/LH use)
- Application pressure: 1.7-2.2 bar at the Nozzle (HVLP max 0.6-0.7 bar at the air cap)
2. Applying coats to the car :
> For opaque colours :
On a clean surface, apply two single coats or until the surface is covered. The evaporation time between coats depends on the air flow and the finish, which must become completely matt. If necessary, leave the surface to matt for longer.
The Autowave MM2.0 system can be applied neat in two coats, respecting the Flash-off between layers, but can also be applied in two thin wet-on-wet coats.
> For opaque, metallic and special effects colours:
Apply a full coat. Then apply a second thin layer. The evaporation time between coats depends on the air flow and the finish, which must become completely matt. If necessary, allow the surface to cool and apply a coat of fogging.
For better placement of the alus particles, we recommend applying a placement coat of alus by reducing the Spray gun pressure from 1 to 1.5, followed by a full coat at full power and at a distance of 30 cm from the substrate.
Tech'team tip: We strongly recommend that you prepare a Test cardboard before starting repairs to check colour accuracy.
