Description of D8175 UHS Super Fast Clearcoat by PPG
PPG's D8175 UHS Super Fast Clearcoat brings the notion of "Speed without compromise" to repair shops. D8175 dries in 5 minutes at 60° C or in 20 minutes at 40° C.C or in 20 minutes at 40°C, with an exceptional final appearance on all types of repair (including complete paintwork) and easy sanding/glossing as soon as it cools.
Application of PPG Clearcoat D8175 UHS Super Fast
- Use in a 1:1 Mixing ratio with its UHS D8305 Hardener and thin 25% with Deltron D8745 or D8746 Thinner.
- Spray with a 1.2 mm Nozzle at a pressure of 2 - 2.2 bar
- Application 1 Thin layer and 1 solid layer
Car Clearcoat D8175 UHS PPG drying time
- Drying at 60°C* 5 minutes with D8745 10 minutes with D8746
- Drying time at 40°C* 20 minutes with D8745 30 minutes with D8746 High Temp Acc. Thinner
- Air drying at 20°C 90 minutes with D8745 120 minutes with D8746
- IR drying With D8746 only 6 minutes (depending on shade)
