What is PPG D8305 Hardener?
D8305 bodywork product is a UHS (Ultra High Solid) Hardener developed by PPG, specially formulated for Clearcoat systems in the PPG range designed for high-end automotive repairs. It embodies a perfect balance between speed of drying, ease of application and quality of finish, meeting the standards of professional bodywork.
D8305 is a high solids Hardener specifically designed to accompany PPG's Ultra High Solid Clearcoats. It enables an optimum chemical reaction, favouring a rapid increase in hardness, a uniform finish and excellent resistance to scratches, solvents and external aggression.
Designed for use in moderate temperature conditions (between 20°C and 25°C), this Hardener offers flexibility of application, both in the cabin and in a controlled ambient environment. This product is for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY.
It is available in 2.5 litre packs and is compatible with D8175 super fast UHS Clearcoat.

How do I use D8305 Hardener?
1. Preparing your mix:
Homogenise the Hardener well before use. Follow the mixing ratios defined for each Clearcoat.
2. Applying to your substrate :
Apply two coats (or one coat followed by half a cross-coat) of the Clearcoat prepared with D8305. Adapt the Nozzle (1.2-1.3 mm) and spray pressure (2 bar) according to the type of Spray gun used.
3. Drying time :
Approximately 15 to 30 minutes at 60°C.
4. Finishing:
Once the surface is dry, the Clearcoat provides a hard, glossy, taut, scratch-resistant film that is easy to polish.
