Description of Clearcoat UHS Premium D8173 by PPG
This UHS Clearcoat from PPG is very easy to use and gives remarkable results, whatever the surface to which it is applied. It hardens quickly, even when fully cured.
Application of Clearcoat UHS Premium D8173 by PPG
- Thin 3:1 with UHS D8302 Hardener and 20% with UHS D8718 Thinner.
- Application: Apply one medium and one thick coat to achieve a dry film thickness of 50 - 60 microns with a 1.2 - 1.3 mm nozzle spray gun.
- The first coat must be applied to all the panels to be repaired before applying the second coat.
- Flash-off between layers
- If there are less than 3 panels, 2 - 3 minutes
- If there are more than 3 panels, no waiting time is required.
- Waiting time before steaming or infrared drying 5 minutes
