5200.1000 Bitumen Protection for 4CR Bodywork
4CR 5200.100 is a spray-applied anti-gravel and anti-corrosion coating with sound-dampening properties. Once dry, it forms an elastic, waterproof coating that protects against various climatic conditions and the effects of corrosion. This coating cannot be overpainted.
Application of 4CR 5200.1000 bitumen protection
5200.1000 is applied as a stone-chip and anti-corrosion protection, for example, to chassis, wheel arches and side skirts of cars, lorries and commercial vehicles. It is highly effective on the side panels of cars, lorries and coaches. The product is also applied as a sound-insulating coating in the construction of railway carriages and containers.

How should 4CR 5200.1000 bitumen protection be used?
The surfaces to be treated must be clean, dry and free from rust, dust and grease. 5200.xxxx is applied in very thick layers using a spray gun, without running. Depending on the application, the product may be thinned with a thinner. If thicker coats are required, it is recommended to allow each coat to dry before applying the next.
