Properties of PPG Deltron MS D800 Clearcoat
PPG's Deltron MS D800 Clearcoat is a liquid polyurethane finish for bodywork. It is applied over a Deltron GRS base, in 3 coats for a standard system (1 light + 1 medium + 1 normal) and in 2 coats for an MS system (1 medium + 1 normal).
Preparing and applying Clearcoat D800 PPG
Before any application, it is necessary to mix D800 with additional products depending on the system chosen:
Standard system: D800 (vol. 2) + Deltron standard Hardener D802 (vol. 1) + Thinner D808 / D807 / D812 / D869 (vol. 1)
MS System :D800 (vol. 3) + MS Hardener* (vol. 1) + Thinner* (vol. 1)
(*) The MS Hardener and Thinner must be selected according to the application temperature:
In special conditions (temperature above 35°C or humidity above 70%), we recommend using D869 Very Slow Thinner. For repairs to small surfaces or to obtain a matt, satin or textured finish, we recommend you refer to the Clearcoat D800 technical data sheet, which can be downloaded in PDF format. Clearcoat D800 does not comply with the VOC standard and is therefore strictly reserved for industrial use.
