Preparing and applying RM Crystal Base
Clean the surface with RM PK 2000, then sand with 400 grit paper. Crystal Base Paint can be applied over RM primer but also over original paint. Add R-M standard Hydromix Thinner 100:60 by volume to the Crystal Base (pot life: one week). Using a 1.4 - 1.5 mm diameter Nozzle, apply 1 to 2 coats, followed by an effect coat, leaving to dry between coats until a matt surface is achieved. The surface dries in 15 minutes in the open air.
