1K Spray Paint in Gunmetal - Renault | Ref. 680149
SprayMax Paint Ref. 680149 is a One-component (1K) aerosol paint specifically formulated for Touch up and repainting of Plastic parts on Renault vehicles in Pierre à Fusil tint. Designed to meet the requirements of bodywork and car repair professionals, it offers a precise colour match with the manufacturer's references, guaranteeing a result indistinguishable from the original colour.
Professional use
This product is intended for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY, in particular for painting the exterior and interior plastic parts of Renault vehicles: bumpers, rear-view mirrors, plastic trim, rocker panels, wing extensions and any previously prepared polymer part.
Paint adheres optimally to plastic substrates that have been properly prepared using a 1K adhesion promoter suitable for plastics. This preparation step is essential to ensure that the coating holds up over time.
Important: This product is not suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) or their copolymers (PP/EPDM) without prior application of a suitable adhesion promoter. It is also not compatible with polystyrene (PS) plastics due to their sensitivity to solvents.
Formulation and performance
The base resin is a nitro-combined resin, a tried and tested technology for plastic finishing Spray paints. It gives the paint film maximum flexibility, an essential property for Plastic parts subjected to deformation, vibration and thermal shock in real-life conditions.
The formulation ensures :
- An exact colour match with the original Renault Pierre à Fusil colour, allowing perfect integration into a partial or total repair.
- High coverage with optimised yield, reducing the number of passes required.
- Satisfactory abrasion resistance for parts subject to light mechanical stress.
- Fast drying compatible with workshop work rates.
Compatibility with paint systems
1K Pierre à Fusil Paint can be overcoated by itself at any time, and accepts the application of conventional 1K or 2K Clearcoats once the drying stage has been reached. This extensive compatibility with the finishing systems commonly used in professional bodywork means that this product can be easily integrated into existing repair processes.
Instructions for use
- Shake the bottlevigorously for at least 2 minutes after hearing the mixing beads.
- Test spray onto a neutral surface to check compatibility and colour.
- Apply at a distance of 15 to 20 cm from the surface to be painted.
- Apply 2 to 3 coats of approximately 10 µm each.
- Allow a flash-off time of approximately 5 minutes at 20°C between each coat.
- Optimum application conditions: temperature between 18°C and 25°C, humidity between 40 and 60%.
- After use, turn the bottle upside down and spray for 3 to 5 seconds to purge the valve and prevent clogging.
Precautions for use
Personal protective equipment must be worn when using this product: breathing mask, gloves and goggles. Do not apply to parts with a safety function (e.g. hard hats). Avoid contact with surfaces coated with non-compatible synthetic resin paints, as this may cause lifting or wrinkling of the existing paint.
