Clearcoat Ultra Gloss 1K - The high-performance one-component topcoat for bodywork professionals
Clearcoat Ultra Gloss 1K (ref. UG1K) is a one-component 400 ml Spray topcoat formulated with acrylic resins, designed to meet the needs of professional bodywork specialists. It offers exceptional gloss, guaranteeing finishes worthy of professional standards.
Versatile application adapted to the bodybuilder's needs
Clearcoat Ultra Gloss 1K can be applied directly to a wide range of common bodywork surfaces: solvent-based or water-based paints once they have completely dried, old paintwork that has been sanded and cleaned, as well as many plastic surfaces that have been cleaned and sanded. Thanks to its excellent film elasticity, this Clearcoat is particularly recommended for soft, flexible parts such as bumpers, skirts, mirror caps and other Plastic parts subject to mechanical stress.
This product does not alter the base colours, making it a reliable choice for protecting and enhancing existing or freshly applied paints.
Fast application and professional results
Clearcoat Ultra Gloss 1K has been formulated to optimise workshop productivity. Fast drying: dust dry in around 5 minutes, touch dry in around 40 minutes. The Clearcoat can be polished after around 24 hours, allowing vehicles to be returned to the workshop quickly.
Spray application is easy and precise. Simply shake the Spray for 2 minutes after activating the mixing beads, then apply from a distance of 15 to 20 cm from the substrate. There are two possible application methods, depending on the desired result and the condition of the substrate:
- Procedure 1: Apply 2 uniform coats with a flash-off time of 5 to 10 minutes between each coat.
- Procedure 2: Apply a light veil, followed by a main coat. A third coat can be added if necessary after 5 to 10 minutes.
After use, turn the Spray upside down and spray for 3 to 5 seconds to clean the valve and ensure product longevity.
Infrared (IR) drying is also available, making it easy to integrate this product into the workflows of equipped workshops.
Long-lasting protection and resistance to external aggression
Clearcoat Ultra Gloss 1K provides long-lasting protection thanks to its excellent UV and weather resistance. It preserves the aesthetic appearance of repairs over the long term and limits premature ageing of treated surfaces. Its smooth finish also facilitates subsequent Polishing operations, for a professional, even finish.
Recommended application conditions
For optimum results, application should be carried out at a temperature of between 18 and 25°C and a relative humidity of 40-60%. Outside these conditions, procedural adjustments may be necessary.
