Carross wet/wet epoxy primer - AEM1
Carross wet/wet epoxy primer has excellent corrosion resistance and sanding properties. This professional product can be used on: steel, galvanised steel, aluminium, sanded cataphoresis and old paintwork.
It is also compatible with polyester putties.
This AEM1 epoxy primer provides excellent adhesion and is very easy to apply. What's more, it's fast drying for bodybuilders, making them more productive in the workshop. This product is suitable for demanding automotive repairs and can be used as a sandable or wet-on-wet primer.
Application of AEM1 Wet-on-Wet Primer:
1. Wet-on-wet version :
- Mixing ratio: 2 parts primer + 1 part Hardener + 0 to 10% Thinner.
- Apply using a paint gun with a 1.3 mm Nozzle
- Apply 1 coat to your car surface
- Recoatable after just 30 minutes at 20°C
2. Sandable version :
- Mix: 2 parts primer + 1 part Hardener + 0-10% Thinner
- Apply using a paint spray gun with a 1.6 mm Nozzle
- Apply two coats to your car surface and wait 5 to 10 minutes between coats
- Dry sandable with P400-P500

AEM1 Primer drying time:
- At 20°C: 5 hours (sandable) 30 minutes (wet on wet)
- At 60°C: 30 minutes (sandable)
