A disc designed for the second stage of polishing
At Mobihel, polishing is carried out in successive stages: the first foam pad handles the initial surface correction, whilst the second refines the finish to the desired standard. The 302409 corresponds to this second stage in a 75 mm size, complementing the 76 mm disc for stage 1 (reference 302406) used previously on the same area.
Why a 75 mm size rather than a large disc?
The smaller diameter makes it easier to work on areas where a standard polishing disc (150 mm) lacks precision: localised touch-ups, bodywork corners, and areas close to windows or trim. It is used with a compact polishing machine or an angle polishing machine suitable for this diameter.
When should you move on to this Stage 2
- After using a Stage 1 foam pad to treat the most pronounced imperfections (micro-scratches, light oxidation).
- To refine the finish before final polishing or before applying a protective coating.
- On a surface that has already been rough-polished, without having to repeat the entire correction process.
