Supreme Gloss Clearcoat, available in 5-litre cans, is a very high quality clearcoat with a high dry extract content. This professional Clearcoat is specially designed for complete vehicle painting with a short drying time.
This Clearcoat SGV5 is recommended for solvent and water-soluble bases. It has a crystal-clear gloss and very high hardness, making it easy for bodybuilders to apply.
This high-quality clearcoat has a stable viscosity once the Hardener has been added, guaranteeing easy and safe application thanks to its long evaporation time and 90-minute hardness. The properties of the Clearcoat make it suitable for all types of work, from Spot-repairs to complete vehicles. Your productivity will be optimised thanks to its Fast drying (5 minutes at 60°C or 3 hours at 20°C) and excellent gloss.

How do I apply Clearcoat Suprême Gloss SGV5?
- Preparation mixture: 2 parts Clearcoat + 1 part Hardener
- Apply to your surface with a Spray gun: 1.3 mm nozzle
- Apply 1.5 coats to your bodywork surface
- Flash-off between coats: 8-10 minutes
- Recommended thickness: 90-100 µm wet / 50-60 µm dry
- Allow 10 minutes before curing
Application conditions :
- Temperature: 18-22°C
- Relative humidity: 40-60
- Theoretical coverage: 10-12 m²/l
- Pot life: 90 minutes at 20°C
Drying time :
- At 20°C: touch dry 80 min / polishable 3h / final hardness 5 days
- At 40°C: polishable 20 min / final hardness 20 min + 4 days at 20°C
- At 50°C: polishable 15 min / final hardness 15 min + 4 days at 20°C
- At 60°C: polishable 5 min / final hardness 5 min + 4 days at 20°C
- Before polishing, wait 1 hour for cooling after firing at 60°C
- IR drying: 8 to 15 min (follow the IR lamp manufacturer's recommendations)
NOTE:
Allow the product to reach the recommended application temperature naturally (avoid rapid heating/cooling). It is not recommended to apply the product at temperatures below 18°C. A low application temperature alters the characteristics of the coating finish (longer open time, longer curing time). Before application, the temperature of the product, the temperature of the spray booth and the temperature of the object should be adjusted to around 20°C.
