Carross brand SMC1 Putty is a lightweight, multifunctional putty reinforced with carbon fibre. This professional product has excellent mechanical properties, making it ideal for areas subject to high stress. Suitable for large surfaces thanks to its low density, it can be applied in Thin or Thick layers, depending on the desired effect, to give the bodywork surface a very smooth finish.
Supreme Carbon Putty can be applied to steel, galvanised steel, aluminium and polyester surfaces.
This product offers a high filling capacity with minimal weight. It is suitable for repairs of all sizes, with even hardening and excellent sandability.
How is SMC1 carbon putty applied?
Before application, the surface must be clean, dry, degreased and sanded. Carefully mix the Putty with 2 to 3% by weight of BPO Hardener. Apply the mixture to your car surface within 3 to 5 minutes at 20°C.
NOTE: An excessive quantity of Hardener may cause discolouration of the Topcoat and alteration of the product. Do not use at temperatures below 15°C.
Drying time for Supreme Putty :
Drying time is approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
