Super Clear Clearcoat performs excellently in both heated and ambient-temperature environments. Using Debeer Super Clear 8-914 clearcoat
To get the best results from Super Clear Colourless 8-914, it is essential to follow the various steps to achieve a professional finish.
1. Preparation and mixing ratio
Mix Clear Coat 8-914 with the dedicated hardener 8-910 in a 1:1 ratio. This simple mixture ensures optimum performance.
2. Spray gun adjustment
Use a 1.2 to 1.3 mm nozzle with an air pressure of between 1.8 and 2.0 bar (26–29 PSI) for effective spray.
3. Application
Apply in 1.5 coats or as ½ + 1 coat to achieve a film thickness of 40–50 μm. Avoid allowing the product to evaporate between coats when applying continuously.
4. Drying time
At room temperature (approximately 20°C) powder dry: 20 mins, touch-dry in 45 mins and ready for polishing in 45 to 60 mins.
When cured at 60°C, it dries in 5 to 10 minutes, with cooling required before Polishing.
5. Finishing
Once clear coat 8-914 has been applied and has dried, it is ready for effective Polishing to ensure a glossy, uniform finish.
