Fast drying anti-scratch Clearcoat is a transparent polyurethane product for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY, offering great scratch resistance. Clearcoat 8-114 is applied wet-on-wet: no evaporation time is required between coats. It offers superior scratch resistance for roller car washes. This Clearcoat also has a short drying time at 20°C and a very short drying time at 40 or 60°C compared to conventional clearcoats. Very easy to use, with outstanding gloss finish quality and superior flow and levelling.

How do I use De Beer Clearcoat 8-114?
1. Adjusting the spray gun :
Whether it's an HVLP or high-efficiency paint spray gun, we recommend setting the nozzle diameter to 1.3-1.5 mm and the air pressure to 1.5-1.8 / 22-26.
2. Application and number of coats :
We recommend the application of two full wet coats at 35-45 µm (1.4-1.8 mil). No evaporation time is required between coats,
3. Flash-off and drying time :
- Powder dry: 20-25 minutes
- Handling: 45-75 minutes
- Ready to polish: 60-90 minutes
The pot life of this professional solution at 20°C is 60 minutes. It is therefore ideal for use in workshops.
