What is eSense R2P20 standard Thinner?

R2P20 is a standard Thinner from the eSense range developed by R-M. This Thinner, reserved for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY, is specially designed for use with waterborne and solvent-based products in the eSense range, in particular Matt basecoats, Clearcoats and Primers.

This R-M product is packaged in 5-litre cans.

The Thinner is designed to be incorporated into paint or Clearcoat mixtures in the proportions recommended by R-M's technical data sheets. This product is perfectly suited to standard application, in particular on:

  • Complete vehicles
  • Medium-sized parts (doors, bonnets)
  • Repairs in temperate ambient conditions
  1. Mix the base coat or Clearcoat with the corresponding Hardener in the correct quantity.
  2. Add the Thinner according to the ideal Mixing ratio for your bodywork surface
  3. Apply your mixture in the paint booth using an HVLP or RP spray gun
  4. Respect the evaporation and drying times before applying the Clearcoat.

Tech'team tip: For colder application conditions or quicker repairs, R-M offers fast-speed Thinners such as R2P15 in 5L packs.
