What is Clearcoat 8-714 from De Beer?
Clearcoat 8-714 is available in 5-litre packs and is FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY. This product is a high-quality polyurethane clearcoat with excellent durability and very good drying and processing properties. Supreme Clear coat has been specially designed to be compatible with application over 900 series waterbase paints. This range of base tints can be applied to passenger cars, buses and commercial vehicles.
This Clearcoat has been specially developed for body repairers requiring a high level of quality in the bodyshop. It combines ease of application, long-lasting gloss and flexibility of drying, adapting to productivity constraints without compromising on finish quality.
This product is compatible with 1 litre HS420 Hardener.

Use of Clearcoat in car body shops:
1. Preparation of the vehicle surface :
Completely hide the vehicle to protect other surfaces from spray fallout, then degrease your surface using a special cleaner from debeer.
2. Mixing ratio :
As indicated on the technical data sheet, the mixing ratio is 3:1 with Hardener + 5% Thinner.
3. Paint gun setting :
- HVLP: Nozzle diameter 1.2-1.4 mm / Spray pressure 2/29
- High efficiency: 1.2-1.4 mm / Spray pressure 2.0-2.5 / 29-39
4. Application and number of coats :
We recommend applying 1 to 2 coats with a dry film thickness of 50-60 µm.
