What are the characteristics of this professional-grade product?
- Type: one-component transparent plastic primer, VOC IIB(e) 830 g/l (limit 840)
- Application: one thin layer
- Drying time: 10–15 minutes at 20°C. Flash-off time 15–20 minutes, dust-free. After 2 hours’ drying, sand with fine Scotch-Brite and reapply a thin layer of 1-60.
- Direct application: onto raw, cleaned and degreased plastic (wash with soapy water + Scotch-Brite, degrease with 1-951, fine or medium/coarse Scotch-Brite depending on the texture, then apply anti-static degreaser 1-851). Add 10–30 per cent of 47-39 2K Elastic to subsequent 2K coats on flexible plastics.

1. Adjusting the paint spray gun:

- High-efficiency: 1.3–1.4 mm nozzle / Air pressure 2/29
2- Application:
We recommend applying a coat of 10–20 µm (0.4–0.8 mil)
3- Drying time and flash-off times:
- Flash-off time: 15–20 minutes
- Dust-free: 20 minutes
4- Substrates:
All types of plastic currently used in the manufacture of exterior parts by manufacturers and in the automotive refinishing sector. Do not use on polyethylene or pure polypropylene. Do not use on plastic parts that have already been primed. If in doubt about the type of plastic, it is important to test adhesion before proceeding with the finish.
