Properties of 800R primer for plastics
800R adhesion promoter provides excellent adhesion to plastic components. It consists of chlorinated polyolefin.
Preparing the primer for bodywork
This product is ready to use. No preparation is required.
Applying 800R primer
800R is applied in 1 to 2 operations. Flash-off between layers is 5 minutes. The finish must be applied after 10 minutes, except for Cromax waterborne Matt basecoats.
It is applied with a gravity spray gun with a 1.2 - 1.4 mm nozzle and 2-3 bar pressure.
Substrates compatible with 800R primer
800R adhesion promoter can be applied to the following exterior composite materials:
- AAS (Acrylonitrile-N-Butylacrylate-Styrene)
- ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
- PBTP (Polybutylene terephthalate)
- PC (Polycarbonate)
- PP/EPDM (Polypropylene / Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer)
- PVC (Polyvinyl chloride)
- GRP (Glass-reinforced plastic / Fiberglass)
