DESCRIPTION

Properties of Standox 1K Primer Filler

1K Primer Filler contains no chromates. It offers exceptional anti-corrosion protection. This product complies with Directive 2004/42/EC (VOC compliant).


Preparing Standox bodywork primer

It is necessary to mix the 1K Primer Filler with 50% Standox® VOC 2K Thinner.


Application of Standox 1K Primer Filler

It is applied in 1 coat. The desolvation time is 10 to 15 minutes at 18-22°C.


Substrates compatible with 1K Primer Filler

This primer is compatible with the following sanded surfaces:

  • Bare metal
  • Aluminium
  • Galvanised metal
  • Small sanding holes on old Paint and primed replacement parts.

After sanding, the primer must be completely covered with a VOC Standox® primer. It is not recommended to coat 1K Primer Filler with Polyester (PE) and Epoxy (EP) products. This product is also available in dark grey in 3.5L.
