Specifications of 4CR’s 2K High Solid 42xx.xxxx Primer

This 2K High Solid filling primer is required for filling pores or sanding marks. It has good filling power and has fast drying.

Application of 4CR’s 2K High Solid 42xx.xxxx Primer

Use in a 4:1 ratio with hardener 0407 and 5% of thinner 0505 (for thin coats) or without thinner (for thick coats).

  • Spray with a 1.5 mm nozzle
  • Pressure: 3–5 bar
  • Flash-off between layers: 7–15 mins
  • Ready for sanding: 25–35 mins at 60°C, 2–5 hours at 20°C
  • Sanding with P600–P800 wet sandpaper / P230 dry sandpaper after curing
  • Practical working time: 3 hours
  • Use as a primer with 25 per cent 2K lacquer
