Description of 4CR 2K acrylic High Solid matt Clearcoat
4CR Clearcoat 7220 is a high-quality matt Clearcoat for the automotive sector. This two-component High Solid acrylic Clearcoat has a reduced VOC content, in accordance with regulations. It can be applied to solvent-based or waterborne bases. It needs to be prepared with Thinner 4CR 0505 (25%) and Hardener 4CR 0407 (2:1) or 4CR 0408 (3:1).
This 2K High Solid acrylic Clearcoat 4CR is to be used for a matt finish or as an Additive with UHS Clearcoats 4CR. This two-component acrylic Clearcoat is recommended in the automotive sector for a high-quality matt finish. This Clearcoat is compatible with solvent-based or waterborne basecoats. It has excellent chemical and mechanical resistance. It offers good weather protection.
Application tip for 2K acrylic High Solid matt Clearcoat
To ensure a uniform finish, i.e. the same degree of gloss over a large surface. We recommend applying 7220 at the end of the day to allow it to dry overnight at room temperature.
