Characteristics of 4CR 4170.1000 2K bi-component paint primer
4CR 4170 is a fast-drying, easy-sanding two-component paint primer with high corrosion protection and good adhesion.
Designed for car repairs. High filling power and no shrinkage. Spot repairs can also be carried out without inconvenience.
Application of 4CR 2K 4170.1000 two-component paint primer
Before applying, we recommend that you test the adhesion on the final substrate.
- Mix the 4170.1000 primer with its 0407 Paint Hardener in a 5:1 Mixing ratio. Thin between 5 and 20% with 2K acrylic Thinner 0505.
- Use a gravity spray gun with a 1.5 - 1.9 mm Nozzle at 3-5 bar pressure for 1 - 3 coats, waiting 15 minutes between coats.
The product is dry in 30 - 40min at 60°C
