Description of Carross PAG Anti-gravel protection:
This professional product is a textured anti-gravel protective coating based on rubber and solvent resins. Available in grey, black or white, this product quickly forms a highly abrasion-resistant plastic film when sprayed on metal sheets. It is recommended for protecting side panels, door sills, rocker panels, boot lids, underframes, bumpers and doors.
It withstands temperatures ranging from -25°C to +80°C.
Carross Anti-gravel is characterised by its excellent elasticity, which means it won't shrink or crack, even at low temperatures. Fast drying, it can be painted after 45 minutes at room temperature (20°C).
How is Carross PAG Anti-gravel applied?
- Bodywork surfaces must be clean, dry and free of rust, grease, dust or other contaminants.
- It is important to mask areas that should not be covered
- To improve adhesion on old surfaces, a light sanding may be necessary
- Pre-treat the surface with a washprimer and epoxy primers, then allow the surface to dry completely.
- Shake the bottle well for about 15 seconds
- Insert the bottle into a suitable air gun
- The recommended air pressure is 4 to 5 bars
- Apply two coats at a distance of 15-20 cm from your bodywork surface
- The recommended dry film thickness is 350-400 µm
- Caution: total thickness must not exceed 1 mm (apply in several coats)
- Close the can after use and clean the application equipment properly
- The surface can be recoated after approximately 45 minutes, and within 8 hours of application at the latest
- Once the product is dry, a light Sanding is recommended before applying the Paint, to obtain an optimal result

NOTE: Avoid drying with infrared lamps, as this can lead to blistering. Store in a cool, dry place.
