DESCRIPTION

Description of UMV1 Ultimate Matt Clearcoat:

This professional Clearcoat from Carross has high chemical, mechanical, UV and weather resistance. It is very hard and easy to apply for body repairers. It has a high-quality matt finish (5 to 10 GU) and can be used on solvent and waterborne basecoats.

The UMV1 Clearcoat offers excellent hardness, very low gloss, high scratch resistance and excellent durability. The level of mattness depends on the thickness of the layer applied: the thinner the layer, the more matt the finish.

Preparation and application tips for UMV1 Ultimate Matt Clearcoat:

Mix 2 parts Clearcoat with 1 part Hardener. Mix well and apply 2 normal coats to your bodywork surface, waiting 5 minutes between coats. Allow 10 minutes before baking. Apply to a clean, dry surface.

Apply using a gravity-feed spray gun, adjusting the diameter of your Nozzle to 1.3mm, the pressure depends on the manufacturer. The dry film thickness should be 50-60 µm.

Drying time :

  • 60°C: 30 minutes
  • 20°C: 3 hours
  • Full hardness: 5 to 7 days at 20°C
  • IR drying: 10 minutes (follow IR lamp manufacturer's recommendations)
