Using hardener 8-810
1. Preparation of the product
Before use, ensure that all necessary products (Clearcoat, Paint, Hardener) are at room temperature and thoroughly mixed.
Ensure that the surface to be painted is clean, dry and free from contaminants such as dust or grease.
2. Mixing ratio
Fast Performance Hardener 8-810 is designed to be mixed with the brand’s 8-814 clearcoat in a 2:1 ratio. If necessary, you may add a small amount of Thinner to adjust the viscosity to suit the working conditions.
3. Application of the mixture
Once the mixture has been prepared, apply the material using a paint sprayer, ensuring the settings are appropriate for the type of project.
Apply the product in 1.5 or 2 coats, allowing 5 to 10 minutes for the previous coat to flash off between coats if you opt for two applications.
4. Drying time
Once evaporation is complete, the material dries quickly under an infrared lamp, held at a suitable distance. The infrared lamp can be used at 50°C for 4 minutes for partial curing or at 65°C for 10 minutes for full curing.
