Technical properties of TopCure H2A14 and H2A24 Hardeners from the R-M professional brand:

What are H2A14 and H2A24 Paint Hardeners?

R-M's TopCure H2A14 (fast version) and H2A24 (standard version) hardeners are an integral part of the high-performance hardening system for 2K two-component products such as R-M Clearcoats, Primers or Binders. Thanks to their advanced formulation, these Hardeners provide fast, even and controlled curing, essential for professional results in the body shop.

What are the advantages of R-M TopCure Hardeners?

1- Controlled reactivity:

  • Fast version: H2A14: accelerated formulation for express Touch up or rapid production, even at room temperature.
  • Standard version: H2A24: ideal balance between openness to application, film tension and even curing

2- High system compatibility:

TopCure Hardeners integrate perfectly with the R-M Onyx HD and Diamont paint base ranges, ensuring chemical consistency with Clearcoats or Universal binders.

3- Premium finish appearance :

Excellent gloss retention, scratch resistance and optical depth on high-gloss finishes and Clearcoats

4- Highly adaptable to climatic conditions:

Allows the operator to choose the Hardener according to cabin temperature or repair size, optimising Clearcoat performance without compromising the finish.

5- Improved productivity:

H2A14 reduces waiting times between stages (reaching Polishing in less than an hour), which is strategic in fast repair processes.

How do you choose between standard and fast hardeners for body shop repairs?

> H2A14 Fast Hardener:

  • Local repairs and spot-repairs
  • Touch up where rapid Polishing is required

> Standard Hardener H2A24:

  • Complete applications on bonnets, roofs, doors or entire vehicles
  • Ideal for regular flow with longer open time and smoother application

TopCure H2A14 and H2A24 Paint Hardeners are reliable, high-quality technical solutions for all bodybuilder applications. Their formulation ensures productivity, durability and an exceptional surface finish.

Using TopCure Hardener in the bodywork workshop:

1- Mixing preparation :

Mix according to the Mixing ratio indicated on the manufacturer's technical data sheet. Remember to mix your preparation thoroughly to ensure that it is homogeneous and that you get a good application.

2- Application and number of coats:

The Preparation is applied using a Paint spray gun with a Nozzle diameter of 1,2-,13 mm and a Spray pressure of 2 bars.

3- Drying time :

Fast drying Hardener is ideal for use at low temperatures for occasional Touch up, with accelerated drying at 60°C. The standard Hardener is recommended for standard temperature conditions during complete repairs.
