Description of 2K High Solid Filler Primer
A two-component acrylic filling primer from Carross. Offers excellent filling properties. This product provides the user with excellent coverage, no sagging, and is very easy to apply and perform sanding on, resulting in an excellent finish on the treated surface. It also offers very good protection against corrosion. Suitable for steel, aluminium, galvanized steel and surfaces coated with polyester putty. This product is intended for hand sanding or using a dry or wet sanding machine.
Application of 2K High Solid Carross Filler Primer
Before application, the surface must be clean, dry, matt and free of grease.
Mix the product thoroughly by adding the primer and a volume of AGEDU1 hardener (ratio 4:1).
Add DIU1 thinner at a volume of 10–20 per cent.
Apply the product using a spray gun in 1 to 3 coats. Allow 10 minutes between coats to allow the solvents to evaporate before applying the next coat.
Storage conditions for Carross 2K High Solid Grey Filler Primer
Ensure the product is well protected from frost, heat, sunlight and moisture. Keep the tin tightly closed in a cool, dry place.
Tech’team tip: We recommend allowing the temperature to reach the recommended application temperature naturally. The temperature of the product and the surface to be painted should be around 20°C.
