Application of Cromax High Solid P706 surfacer
Mixing ratio: 7:1 with Cromax ET645 activator and up to 8% ET745 / 750 Thinner.
Nozzle and air pressure: spray gun with 1.4 - 1.6 nozzle gravity and 2 - 2.5 bar pressure
Drying time :
- at 20°C: 3 - 4h
- at 60°C: 20min
Preparing the surface
- Thoroughly clean your surface using a preparation cleaner for bare metals. Then remember to wipe with a clean microfibre cloth.
- Sand and remove all traces of rust and corrosion
- Remove all traces of sanding dust with a new clean microfibre cloth.
- Degrease with a cleaner/degreaser, then wipe again with a clean cloth.
Tech'team tip: It's important to use a good solvent-based spray gun cleaner.
